Event Details

The Summer Creative Teacher Institute is a weekend of arts training for educators! From June 17 - 19, 2005, educators from all backgrounds and of all skill levels can receive specialized instruction in creative writing, music, modern dance, musical theatre, visual arts, media arts, and arts & technology in classes taught by NOCCA|Riverfront's acclaimed faculty. Participants will also enjoy observation of NOCCA|Riverfront's summer session classes, tours of the NOCCA|Riverfront facility, welcome and closing receptions, optional evening excursions, and networking with their many talented peers.

The NOCCA Institute



New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) is a world-class educational institution that has been changing the lives of young people since 1973. Every year, this professional arts training center provides intensive instruction in Classical Music, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Drama, Jazz, Media Arts, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design, Vocal Music, Visual Arts, and academics to students from public, private, and parochial schools across Louisiana.
